A free learning tool to learn the meaning of words.

jVLT (Java Vocabulary Learning Tool) is an interesting free tool that solves students` doubts. It includes examples of set words with their meanings and examples in use, and the user, for their part, can create their own definitions of the words.

Also, jVLT can create competitions using a flashcard system that follows the learning system proposed by the psychologist Sebastian Leitner. During the competition, jVLT shows the examples of each word, letting you memorize them. The list of vocabulary words (or part of it) can be printed out. The program interface is discrete and friendly.

The program works on various platforms, including Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
